An Introduction . . .

My name is Katy. I am the mom of an awesome little boy born in September of 2009, and an adorable little girl born in April of 2011. The two of them keep me quite busy, but somehow I have found the time to start a new hobby. I was playing on Facebook one day and came across a post from a friend for a giveaway. One element of the giveaway was this hat. It was the coolest Owl hat ever for a little kid. Lo and behold the link was to a crochet pattern. So I went to Wal-mart and bought a little "Learn to Crochet" packet. Combining that with YouTube videos got me rolling. A few bumps along the way and my son has his Owl hat. By the time it was finished I was hooked (pardon the pun). I have been pretty much constantly crocheting ever since. That is when my two little munchkins allow me to.
